Strong high pressure quickly built into the Mid-South behind a strong area of low pressure located over the Ohio Valley during the afternoon hours on February 1st, 2011. Strong gradient winds occurred across the area as a result. Trees and power lines were knocked down and roof damage occurred to a few buildings across West Tennessee. |
