Episode Narrative A moist southerly flow and a strong cold front caused widespread strong thunderstorms with scattered flash flooding across northern Arizona.
Event Narrative Heavy rain from thunderstorms caused flash flooding in north central Navajo County. Roads were closed and washed out in and around the Whipoorwill area. Some of the affected roads included: Indian Routes 4 and 67 one mile south of Whipoorwill, Indian Route 67 in Whipoorwill, Indian 8027, and Rocky Ridge Road near Dinnebito Wash.
