Episode Narrative Widespread moderate to heavy precipitation fell as heavy snow over the northern part of the area, with a mixture of freezing rain, sleet, and snow near the southern border of the state. Up to 12 inches of snow fell in the heavy snow area.
Event Narrative Freezing rain and sleet changed to snow. The freezing rain and sleet caused icy travel and walking surfaces. Light glazing was reported from the freezing rain, as well as sleet accumulations up to one inch. Snowfall varied from less than 1 inch in the southeast corner of the county up to 6 inches in the northwest. Winds averaging 20 to 30 mph caused drifting and some areas of blowing snow in the northwest part of the county.
