Low pressure tracked from eastern Oklahoma to northern Arkansas and then into the Ohio Valley on February 24-25, 2011. This storm system spread snow, briefly heavy, across portions of southeast Iowa, western Illinois and extreme northeast Missouri. Snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches were common in those areas. The highest amount reported was 5.0 inches near Cantril, Iowa in Van Buren county. |
