| Episode Narrative | A cold outbreak beginning on the evening of February 6th resulted in convective snow showers developing over Lake Superior and moving into coastal areas of northern Wisconsin around and east of the Bayfield Peninsula, with locally heavy snow amounts. Greatest snow amounts were an estimated 16 to 25 inches by a snow plow operator in eastern Ashland County. Reported snow amounts included 20 inches at Gurney and 15.5 inches near Saxon, both in northern Iron County, and 18 inches 8 miles southeast of Odanah, in northern Ashland County. |
