| Episode Narrative | A low pressure system developed along the Louisiana Coast during the day on January 25th, 2011 and moved northeast into Georgia. Rain associated with the system transitioned to snow across the Mid-South during the evening hours. Total snow accumulation across West Tennessee was 1 to 4 inches. The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to at least 28 accidents of which 4 had injuries. Another 14 motorists were stranded along the road as a result of the snow. An additional 20 accidents occurred in Weakley County alone with another 17 in Henry County. |
