A severe thunderstorm developed across southwestern Campbell County and tracked to the northeast. A tornado briefly touched down southwest of Gillette. |
| Event Narrative |
The tornado hit a methane gas well, which started to leak. It also broke a large tree about two feet off the ground, lifted and tossed livestock feeders, and ripped the roof of a well house. Path length and width were estimated. |
