A record breaking surface low pressure area moved across Minnesota and brought high winds to Big Stone and Traverse counties. Northwest winds of 35 to 45 mph with gusts to near 60 mph occurred from the afternoon of the 26th to the early evening of the 27th. The high winds damaged some buildings, signs, and trees across both counties. |
