| Episode Narrative | An unusually strong storm system brought damaging winds to northeast Minnesota. The storm set record low pressure readings in Minnesota and Wisconsin, with the lowest pressure in Wisconsin set at Superior. The counterclockwise flow around the system brought very gusty southwest winds which brought down trees and power across northwest Wisconsin. There was also some structural damage reported. Winds generally gusted from 40 to 50 mph, with some areas gusting over 50 mph. Devils Island in the Apostle Islands had a peak wind gust of 61 mph. |
