| Episode Narrative |
Low pressure in the central plains had a warm front draped across southern Iowa and into western Illinois on October 23, 2010. A strengthening low level jet and moist axis impinging on the front triggered a few thunderstorms during the late afternoon and evening. One thunderstorm near Hamilton in Hancock County produced pea to nickel size hail. |
| Event Narrative |
Trained spotter reported pea to nickel size hail just east of Hamilton. |
