Episode Narrative A Pacific storm system moved through Utah near the end of August, with gusty synoptic scale winds and more flash flooding in southern Utah from associated thunderstorms.
Event Narrative Flash flooding occurred in portions of Zion National Park and the surrounding area, including in North Creek, Deep Creek, and the North Fork of the Virgin River. An increase in flow of over 500 cfs was measured at the Virgin River gauge.
