Slow-moving and heavy rain-producing thunderstorms developed across northern Chaves and Roosevelt County during the early morning hours. The heaviest rain fell east of Rogers and north of Causey. Six miles east of Rogers, 3.40 inches of rain fell in just under 3 hours, causing flash flooding. |
