| Episode Narrative |
A backdoor cold front moved in from the north over portions of southeast Georgia. This provided enhanced lift in a very moist and unstable atmosphere over the forecast area during late evening and early overnight hours. As thunderstorms developed they became clustered and pulsed to produce isolated severe winds. Heavy rains fell in and around the Savannah metro near high tide, thus enhancing flooding to prone locations. |
