Scattered thunderstorms developed across south central Arizona, in the Wickenburg area as well as portions of southern Gila county, on July 23. The storms produced strong gusty winds, and locally heavy rain which led to flooding of roads and washes. |

Very strong thunderstorm winds, gusting to 60 mph, downed a number of branches. Locally heavy rain was reported as well, with one half of an inch reported in just 30 minutes. |
