Runoff from widespread heavy rain caused minor flooding of the Missouri River near Chamberlain and also in a bend of the river from Springfield Southwest and west during mid and late June. |

Runoff from heavy rain caused the Missouri River to rise slowly above flood stage. Lowlands flooded included some camping and other recreational facilities. The river crested at 3.38 feet above flood stage on June 23rd. |
