Lightning struck a haystack at approximately 1525MST on Friday, August 6. The stack, containing 400 tons of premium hay, smoldered for three days before becoming engulfed with flames around 1830MST Monday, August 9. Despite a large response by fire personnel, the entire stack was lost. |
