Rapid snowmelt runoff and increased water releases from Bull Lake Reservoir caused agricultural flooding along the Wind River around Riverton. Moderate to widespread flooding of agricultural lowlands was reported from Riverton downstream to Black Bridge and on toward Hidden Valley. The river gage on the Wind River at Riverton crested at 9.42 feet at 1045MST on Wednesday, June 9. |
