Episode Narrative July 15th an area of low pressure extended north from eastern Colorado into the eastern Nebraska Panhandle. The surface trough became the focus for thunderstorm development with the heating of the day a few that became severe. The storms moved south from Garden County reaching as far as Chase County and produced several reports of large hail.
