| Episode Narrative |
Continued above normal moisture coupled with slow moving thunderstorms resulted in a few flash floods across western New Mexico during the afternoon and evening hours. Though many of the storms spanned a relatively small area, they dumped upwards of 2 inches of rain in some spots. |
| Event Narrative |
Cox Canyon Bridge on County Road 2900 just southwest of Cedar Hill collapsed. Officials say the bridge collapsed because water running down the canyon hit the bridge at an angle and the eddy it created, ripped out the structure's support. The residents of about 100 homes were left stranded. |
