A stationary front was located across West Tennessee and Arkansas during the afternoon and evening hours of May 16, 2010 while an upper level disturbance moved into the Mid Mississippi Valley. These features combined with daytime heating to produce showers and thunderstorms across the Mid South. Some of the storms were severe producing flash flooding. |
