| Episode Narrative | Low pressure moved slowly across Missouri into Illinois, bringing heavy snow to parts of northeast Iowa. Total accumulations varied greatly, ranging between 4 and 10 inches. Some of the highest totals included 9.9 inches at Calmar (Winneshiek County), 6.5 inches in Fayette (Fayette County) and 6.0 inches near Cresco (Howard County). Strong northerly winds accompanied the storm, causing blowing and drifting snow. |
