Episode Narrative An upper-level low over the Ohio Valley provided plenty of cold air aloft while a southerly flow ahead of this system ushered in warm and moist air from the south at the surface. The combination of the warm low-levels and the colder air aloft provided enough instability for showers and thunderstorms to develop. Some thunderstorms during the afternoon hours produced large hail.
Event Narrative Quarter size hail was reported near Woodville.
