| Episode Narrative | An area of low pressure moved from the Mississippi coast to off the Carolina coast. At the same time another low moved through the Ohio Valley, putting northwest North Carolina in the middle of the two. An area of mixed precipitation moved across the area with light to moderate accumulations. The coastal low deepened on Wednesday bringing gusty winds and significant upslope snow showers to the higher elevations. |
| Event Narrative | Strong northwest winds on the backside of a deepening coastal low brought down numerous trees and power lines across the county. It was approximated that around 25 trees came down due to the winds. |
