Episode Narrative On the evening of March 1st, an area of strong gusty winds between 40 and 50 mph, affected areas around Marion, Lamar, and Forrest Counties. This was caused by a tight pressure gradient behind an area of light to moderate rain which was moving eastward. This can also be called a wake low. These strong winds knocked down some trees and power lines across Marion, Lamar, and Forrest Counties.
Event Narrative Two trees were reported blown down around Petal.
