| Episode Narrative | On the evening of March 1st, an area of strong gusty winds between 40 and 50 mph, affected areas around Marion, Lamar, and Forrest Counties. This was caused by a tight pressure gradient behind an area of light to moderate rain which was moving eastward. This can also be called a wake low. These strong winds knocked down some trees and power lines across Marion, Lamar, and Forrest Counties. |
