Snow showers developed in a warm advection zone during the early morning hours on the 14th. The snow showers mixed at times with rainfall before changing to all rain by late morning. Quick bursts of moderate to heavy snow were reported resulting in isolated accumulation of up to 2 inches in portions of northeast Alabama. Some accidents due to the slick conditions were reported. |
