| Episode Narrative | An arctic airmass moved into South Texas on January 8th and brought record low temperatures to South Texas on the morning of January 9th. The Corpus Christi International Airport recorded a record low temperature of 24 degrees and the Victoria Regional Airport recorded a record low temperature of 17 degrees. Other selected low temperatures include: Cotulla: 16 degrees, Alice: 21 degrees, Laredo: 25 degrees, and Rockport: 26 degrees. There were reports of damage to plants of residents across South Texas. No widespread agriculture damage was reported, as crops had not been planted. |
