Episode Narrative During the late evening hours on January 8th and the early morning hours of January 9th, a lake effect snow event off of Lake Michigan caused one to two inches of snow accumulation across central and eastern portions of Middle Tennessee. This resulted in multiple roads across five counties to became snow covered, causing hazardous driving conditions and several car accidents.
Event Narrative Total snowfall accumulation, estimated ranging between one and two inches, was reported across the county by multiple CoCoRaHS observers. Multiple roads across the county became snow covered, causing hazardous driving conditions and several car accidents. Details on any damage amounts or injuries associated with these accidents were unknown.
