Thunderstorms dumped very heavy rainfall across Aransas County during the evening and overnight hours of the 19th into the 20th. Radar estimates and ground truth confirmed between 4-8 inches of widespread rainfall occurred across the county, with isolated totals of around 10 inches. The heavy rainfall resulted in flooding. The following are select rainfall totals from the evening of the 19th through 7 AM on the 20th:

Heavy rainfall led to several city streets in and around Rockport being flooded during the evening and overnight hours. Several vehicles were stranded in high water. Eight homes were flooded, with one home up to a foot deep near the intersection of Linden and Lady Claire. |
