A slow-moving low pressure area brought six to ten inches of snow across extreme northwest Kansas, southwest Nebraska and eastern Yuma county Colorado. Winds of 15 to 25 mph produced occasional blowing snow and reduced visibility. Highest snow totals in southwest Nebraska included 7 inches at Benkelman, 9-10 inches in extreme northern Dundy County, 10 inches north of Stratton, 5 inches in Culbertson, 7 inches northwest of McCook and 6 inches at Indianola. |
