| Episode Narrative | An unseasonably deep area of low pressure over the upper Great Lakes swept a powerful cold front across the Niagara Frontier and western Finger Lakes Region. The thunderstorms which accompanied the cold front produced strong, damaging winds. Gusts were measured to 61 mph. The winds downed trees and power lines throughout the region with utilities reporting tens of thousands of customers without service. |
