| Episode Narrative |
A strong cold front came through the region, plummeting temperatures from 20 to 30 degrees below normal. This had a huge impact on the sugar beet crops in eastern Montana. |
| Event Narrative |
Area sugar beet producers did not have the crop entirely harvested when a cold front brought very cold air into the region. While the entire crop was finally harvested, this cold snap caused some losses for farmers. That number has not been quantified yet. Temperature during this time period ranged from 20 to 30 degrees below normal. |
