Episode Narrative A very unstable atmosphere ahead of an approaching upper level trough caused thunderstorms to form, with one severe thunderstorm across northwest Montana. Hail up to golf ball size was reported.
Event Narrative Hail caused significant damage to two vehicles and broke small tree limbs off nearby trees 2 miles southeast of Eureka.
