Episode Narrative A cold front located near the Pecos River and surface based instability along the front resulted in thunderstorm development across southwest Texas. In addition, abnormally high amounts of atmospheric moisture lead to heavy rainfall for some locations.
Event Narrative A trained spotter reported numerous tree limbs, up to 4 inches in diamter, were blow down in Artesia, NM.
