| Episode Narrative | A MCS induced shortwave impulse and lift from the exit region of a 50 to 65 knot|mid-level jet help to sustain severe convection east of the mountains. The convection moved into the western Piedmont in the late hours on the 12th and continued through the daybreak on the 13th. The storms produced mainly thunderstorm wind damage with isolated flash flooding. |
