| Episode Narrative | An upper level disturbance helped to push a surface cold front south through the region, aiding in the development of evening thunderstorms across south central Nebraska. Some thunderstorms became severe, dropping hail up to the size of gold balls. A number of funnel clouds were reported with a storm near Cairo, which then shifted south into Grand Island, where additional funnel clouds were reported. |
