Episode Narrative Thunderstorms produced very heavy rainfall by mid afternoon across portions of western New Mexico. The heavy rainfall fell so quickly that vehicles were swept away into nearby arroyos due to the high water flow. Luckily, no one was injured.
Event Narrative Heavy rain caused a vehicle to be washed away in an arroyo. Law enforcement discovered the vehicle unoccupied with keys in the ignition.
