| Episode Narrative | Severe convection developed along a lee side trough across the Midlands of South Carolina and central Georgia, then shifted east into the forecast area during the afternoon and evening as a potent upper level disturbance crossed the area. This convection interacted with the sea breeze (which happened to be pinched rather close to the coast) allowing for additional intensification closer to the coast. |
