| Episode Narrative | Widespread rain and freezing rain developed and changed to snow on February 24th, with snow continuing through the morning of February 25th. The heaviest snow was along the Missouri River in far southeast South Dakota, while the greatest ice accumulations were between Brookings and Sioux Falls. |
| Event Narrative | Rain changed briefly to freezing rain, with light ice accumulations, before the precipitation changed to snow. Snow accumulated 3 to 5 inches, making travle hazardous. Several vehicles slid into ditches. |
