| Episode Narrative | A cold front moved south into the Midsouth during the afternoon hours of May 1, 2009. Numerous showers and thunderstorms developed ahead of the front that continued into the evening hours. Some storms became severe producing flash flooding and large hail. |
| Event Narrative | Heavy rain produced flash flooding in and around Union City. Sunswept Drive had one to one and a half feet of water over the street making it impassable. |
