Episode Narrative An area of showers and thunderstorms converged on southeast West Virginia during the evening of the 8th, and lasting through the 9th, along a frontal boundary. Heavier downpours with up to 2 inches of rain in a short amount of time caused flash flooding over portions of the area.
Event Narrative Hans Creek flooded, washing some cross ties onto Highway 219, near Lindside.
