Episode Narrative A cold front in central Iowa sparked some heavy rain-producing showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening hours of May 13th. Flash flooding resulted from the torrential downpours. In addition, a few of the stronger storms produced non-severe hail up to the size of a nickel.
