Episode Narrative A low pressure area combined with northwest winds off Lake Superior brought heavy late season lake effect snow to the Gogebic Range of northwest Wisconsin. The heaviest of the snow fell during the overnight hours of April 20. Specific amounts include 17 inches at Gile, 16 inches at Pence, 12 inches in Upson, and 7 inches in Mercer.
