Episode Narrative A significant severe weather event developed across the NWS Jackson area during the afternoon and evening of May 2. This occurred during the night across Northeast Louisiana as a bowing line of severe storms moved across the northern parishes. These storms brought large hail, some up to the size of walnuts along with damaging winds to some areas.
Event Narrative Numerous trees and power lines had blown down across the parish, mainly between Oak Grove and Pioneer.
