Episode Narrative Saturated low levels from earlier rains along a nearly stationary boundary across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin combined with cooling temperatures to produce widespread dense fog over most of Southeast Wisconsin and a portion of South Central Wisconsin during the evening of March 7th and lasting into the early morning hours of March 8th. The lowest visibilities fell to between 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile.
