| Episode Narrative | A lack of rainfall over the summer and fall of 2006, and a lack of snowfall through the early winter of 2006-07, resulted in several counties across northwest Minnesota being put in a D2 (severe) drought designation (per the U.S. Drought Monitor). Kittson and West Marshall counties were added to the D2 category on February 13, and remained there for the rest of the month. |
