An upper air disturbance moving across the region produced a six to nine hour period of light to moderate snow on February 13-14, 2009. A band of 3 to 4 inches of snow was common across northeast Iowa and northwest Illinois. The heaviest snow in northwest Illinois was measured at Freeport in Stephenson county with 3.5 inches. |
