| Episode Narrative | Within a week of being impacted by the winter storm of February 23 to 25, a second winter storm hit southwest Wisconsin from February 28 to March 2. This storm produced snow accumulations of 6 to 10 inches. Specific reports included 11.0 inches at Mondovi (Buffalo County), 9.0 inches near Independence (Trempealeau County) and 8.3 inches near Owen (Clark County). In addition to the heavy snow, ice accumulations of 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch affected parts of Trempealeau Clark, Monroe and Adams counties. |
