| Episode Narrative | An upper level low pressure system sliding east across the central Rockies created strong southwest winds over the sacramento mountains on the morning of the 30th. Winds shifted to the northwest during the afternoon as a cold front moved southeast through the region. |
| Event Narrative | Winds gusts equal to or exceeding 58 mph were recorded at Cannon Air Force Base between approximately 12 pm and 2 pm MST. The peak wind gust of 62 mph occurred at 1255 pm. |
