| Episode Narrative |
Scattered low topped supercell thunderstorms developed along a pre-frontal trough during the afternoon hours across north Alabama. The storm environment consisted of very strong deep layer wind speed shear and moderate amounts of instability. These storms produced small hail and isolated wind damage. As a side note, a high temperature of 76 degrees tied the records at both Huntsville and Muscle Shoals. |
