Heavy lake effect snow fell across the Gogebic Range of Ashland and Iron counties. Along with the 6 to 9 inches of accumulation, windy conditions caused blowing and drifting of the snow. The heaviest snow fell during the morning hours of the 6th with snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour. |
